I also have an Inspiron 6000 system running windows 7 professional. I have no driver issues, as I have been using the current xp drivers, but you can't use the setup.exe file. Any of you should know about attempting to run a different version file (from xp) to a different environment (to w7) will not work. You have to extract the file content of the driver file you downloaded and create a new directory to load the contents into.
