I love the app but the one thing I HATE is that if I delete the app I lose my messages. Like I do notttt see the point in that. Please fix this!!!
One problem-
I love kik and I use it a lot but I hate the fact that you can only send videos that are 2 minutes or less
Please make it so we can send videos over 2 minutes I hate having a time limit--
If you do so id appreciate it very much and I'll make sure to change my review

Kik is a free text messaging app that provides a wide range of features for chatting and sharing with your friends. You can chat with people you know, as well as with a wide selection of chat bots that are available for your entertainment.
Some of the bots you can chat with include H&M, Sephora, CNN, The Weather Channel, and even Dr. Spock. In addition to providing access to some of the most fun and interesting chat bots around, Kik is also a great messaging app for sharing stickers, viral videos, sketches, memes, videos, and websites.
Before you can message friends with Kik on your iPhone or other Apple device, you must download the app since it only works for messaging other Kik users. Once installed, you can send and receive messages, share photos and sketches, send YouTube video links, search and share images and internet memes, and more.
Download Kik
To download Kik on your phone, tablet, or iPod, search for the app in the App Store and tap GET to download it.
- Open the App Store app on your device.
- Alternatively, you can tap this link from your device to immediately open the Kik download page. If you do that, skip down to Step 3.
- Note: If you're on an iPad or iPod touch, you have to open the download page from that link because there isn't a native Kik app for iPad (i.e., you have to install the iPhone version).
- Search Kik in the App Store.
- Tap GET.
You won't see this button if you've downloaded Kik from the same Apple ID in the past. You'll instead need to tap the cloud icon
Kik will download and install automatically. If you're prompted for your Apple ID and password, enter it to continue the download.
Kik System Requirements
If you can't download Kik, double check that your device supports the minimum requirements:
- Your device's operating system has to be iOS 8.1 or newer.
- The app requires 150 MB of free space. Delete unnecessary apps if you're struggling to make room for Kik.
- Kik supports iPhone only, so iPad and iPod touch users have to use the App Store link above to see Kik in the App Store.

Log In to Kik
After downloading and installing Kik, you can sign in and begin chatting with friends who also have the app installed.
When you first log in, you'll see a screen similar to the one in this picture. You have two options: create a new Kik account or log in to an existing one.
How to Create a New Kik Account
Kik On Iphone
To create your free Kik account, tap the blue Sign Up button and fill out the form.
- Enter your first name.
- Enter your last name.
- Choose a Kik username.
- Enter your email address.
- Type a strong password.
- Enter your birthday.
- Optionally enter your phone number.
- Tap Sign Up.
You can also tap Set Photo to choose a picture for your profile photo. You can take a new one or choose one from your gallery.
How to Sign In to an Existing Account
Download Kik App On Computer
To log in with an existing Kik account, tap Log In on the home screen. Enter your username or email address, followed by your Kik password, and then tap Log In.
